What is Chiyogami? Chiyogami is a special Washi paper that has been hand stenciled or printed with traditional Japanese imagery using vivid intense colors and patterns. First appearing during the Edo period, Chiyogami was traditionally used to craft paper objects especially dolls.

Mark applies the Chiyogami paper to a pen tube and then casts it clear Alumilite resin which enhances the unique and delicate patterns that are visualized on the paper. Since Alumilite is used, the resin turns easily and polishes up perfectly!
