A Jacob's Chuck or a jawed chuck is required to hold this bottle stopper mandrel while you turn your creation. This mandrel comes with a large sizing bushing .947" (BSMB1). The threads on this mandrel are 3/8" x 16 tpi. Use a 5/16" drill bit, tap your blank and then thread your blank onto the mandrel. Turn the blank down to the bushing diameter and finish as desired.
