Use this mandrel on all standard 1/4" x 20 threaded bottle stoppers. Drill a 6mm hole into your stopper blank, tap the hole and then screw in the threaded end of the mandrel into the blank. Insert the smooth end of the mandrel into a three jawed chuck or Jacob's Chuck and turn your material to the desired shape. Remove your finished bottle stopper and then screw it directly into your bottle stopper. The threads of the mandrel match the threads on both the BHW-450 & BHW 451 chrome bottle stoppers. A 15/64" drill bit is available for a smaller hole when using softer woods.
