The story of the Phoenix Firebird dates back to ancient Egyptian and Greek times and is rumored to have beautiful red & gold feathers. The legend has the phoenix building a nest of twigs & leaves and then burns intensely until both the nest and the phoenix are consumed and nothing is left but ashes. As the legend goes, from the ashes a new more beautiful phoenix then appears renewing the life cycle of this amazing Firebird.
This pen has the details from the phoenix, flames emanating from the top of the pen, an amber crystal in both the cap and clip. The front of the pen has flames coming from the tip as well. It is a very easy pen top make which uses a Parker style refill.
